How Are Computer Printers Different?
Computer Printers are devices that print on paper or other surfaces with ink. In computer science, a printer is usually a peripheral device that produces a constant representation of text or graphics, typically on white paper. While it is true that solid-state printers can deliver high-quality color results in a shorter period of time, it is also true that the increase in cost per page may negate the savings made on ink cartridges. Solid-state laser printers and LED printers both utilize a ribbon-type printing media. When printing, either type of printer relies on micro-capsules filled with ink that are propelled through the printer head via a laser jet.
