Kurt Busiek, an artist and writer, created The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. The success of the comic book of the same name influenced the movie. Many assumed that Civil War, the TV series about Civil War, would be ended after the film's second season. This is because the ending of the movie is so surprising. However the TV show was able to be revived thanks to a blockbuster movie, the Amazing Spider-Man. After the comic book series ended the rights to the character were sold and a television series featuring Peter Parker, the Amazing Spider-Man was created. This is how the TV series Civil War was born.

The future of the MCU is bright following the success of the Avengers comic book series. Fans can expect to see the culmination of the Avengers story in the next movies. The films have already demonstrated that the Avengers will remain in the cinematic universe even after the MCU closes.
