how they prepared the graphite. it peaked my curiosity because I didn't know all the steps it took to create and prepare graphite let alone how fragile the material is.
they take the graphite in powdered form and mix it in with a liquid that hardens it into a solid. Then they take the graphite and cut it into sticks. Then they take them sticks of graphite and heat them up, then they take and finish trimming and get the precise cutting done to the graphite. For the wood they take chunks of wood and slice them into thinner slices they take them thinner slices and drill the hole in place for ,were the sticks of graphite are about to go, and lastly the put both the wood and the graphite into a machine that creates them into the pencil we know .
