1. Vampire yang berasal dari China, biasanya bergerak dengan melompat dan tangan yang lurus ke depan. Jiang shi tidak bisa terkena sinar matahari. Jiang shi biasanya memangsa sari kehidupan dari korbannya.
2. Melempar jiang shi tersebut dengan ketan, telor ayam, dan bawang putih. Bisa juga dengan menempelkan jimat kuning ke dahinya. Atau bisa juga dengan menahan nafas.
3. Dhampir adalah vampire yang bisa terkena sinar matahari. Dhampir adalah hasil persilangan dari moroi x dhampir. Dhampir mempunya tubuh yang berisi yang digunakan untuk melindungi moroi. Dhampir biasnya memakan makanan manusia biasa, tidak seperti moroi yang sangat suka darah.
