Nama mantra dari OWL to Opera Glasses adalah Strigiforma.
OWL to Opera Glasses adalah sebuah mantra transfigurasi berjenis Trasformasi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengubah burung hantu, sebagai objek, menjadi sepasang kacamata opera.
Untuk warnanya, bisa diubah sesuai keinginan ketika akan merapal mantra ini.
Di dalam buku berjudul Intermediate Transfiguration, sebuah buku yang mempelajari transfigurasi, di mana di seri buku ini menjelaskan tentang sebuah diagram yang membantu pembaca untuk memahami sebuah mantra.
OWL to Opera Glasses ini pernah dijelaskan oleh Professor McGonagall kepada murid di tahun ketiga kelas transfigurasi di Sekolah Sihir Hogwarts pada tahun ajaran 1986-1987.

Etimologi mantra ini, berasal dari kata ‘strigis’ (bentuk genetif dari strix) yang merupakan bahasa Latin yang merujuk pada burung hantu Screech. Sementara ‘forma’ berasal dari bahasa Latin yang berarti ‘bentuk atau penampilan’.
Di Biologi, Strigiformes adalah sebuah nama dari ordo taksonomi yg mencakup semua spesies burung hantu.
