- i believe that one main reason these stories take so long to survface are because of factors of embarrasement, fear, and pressure. For example, people may be too embarressed or scared to speak up because they doubt anyone would be leive them. They may be scared due to possible reprecussion that would occur, espseically from an organization as large as the religious church. Finally, they would decide not to due to pressure, pressure from large corporations, certain people, or even peers in order to keep up a public image, like seen within the movie.

-if i was in a position to bring these stories to light today, I would be very apprehensive about informing the public about these stories with the use of social media. Most of the different types of social medias today tend to spread information that is both corect and incorrect like wildfire, and typically end up leading to a mob mentality that is harmful to all parties. When dealing with a subject such as the corruption of religion, I believe that using social media to distribute this information would not be ideal due to the chaos it would cuase, as religion is a big part of many people's lives today. While i would still decide to send out the information, i believe that there are better ways to do it. For example, you could distribute it on social media in a controlled manner, via public articles that are seen to be reliable sources so that they information is not misinterpreted or altered. this would allow people to recieve the news with a main source that people can use to confirm with

- personal consequences resulting from the investigation may come from the organizations it affects. For example, if I were involved with this religous group specifically ,they could ostrasize me for the publishing of this information, or maybe it would cause me to stop associating with this group. This is seen in the omve as some of the investigation crew stops going to church and even loses friends that were invlolved with covering up these tpyes of things. positive personal outcomes of this would come from making the group a safer organization, which
