MKH was founded with the idea of being different than other personal injury and family law firms. After working for larger firms ran by attorneys with a Thomas Girardi style of screwing over clients, Harmony Alves decided to start her own firm where she can control how clients are treated. At MKH, Harmony herself is involved in every case and is usually the main point of contact for the clients. We represent clients in personal injury and family law in Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and San Diego County.
Our consultations are always free and can be booked from this site. Only attorneys conduct our free consultations--not an "intake specialist", paralegal, or case manager (generally those persons are not authorized to give legal advice and Harmony requires only attorneys conduct our firm's free consultations).
At MKH, the client always comes first. We bring big firm results with a small firm feel and personality. The attorney assigned to your case is your main point of contact, not a paralegal, case manager, or legal assistant to your attorney--the attorney themselves. Your attorney is also directly accessible to you through our secure smart phone app and/or direct email. The attorney on your case is the one that drafts important documents as well, not a paralegal or case manager using a generic template.
We understand that although we operate daily in this arena, dealing with an injury (and the insurance company) or family law matter is very stressful. We believe in explaining things in terms our clients can understand, not legalese to inflate our egos. We believe attorneys should be accessible to the client, including outside of normal business hours as needed, including for our free consultations. We are in this field because we care about people like you getting the justice they deserve and now, you're not alone.
