Sariagri - Sekretaris Perum Bulog, Awaludin Iqbal menjelaskan perwujudan penyediaan beras dalam negeri yang sedang dilakukan Bulog per 22 September 2021 sampai 1.003.088 ton atau sama dengan 1.879.146 ton gabah kering panen (GKP). Peresapan beras cadangan pemerintahan itu dijalankan di seluruhnya area kerja Bulog di Indonesia.
"Sukses kami saat kerjakan peresapan beras dalam negeri ini adalah usaha giat Unit Kerja Penyediaan (Satker ADA) Perum Bulog serta dan loyalitas Partner Kerja yang tak berhenti-hentinya mempernyerap beras pada tingkat petani," kata Awaludin Iqbal, Rabu (22/9/2021).
Ia katakan di 22 September sejumlah 177 ribu ton beras dalam negeri terisap Satker ADA dan 826 ribu ton teresap Partner Kerja Binaan (Koperasi serta Non Koperasi).
Menurutnya, peresapan beras dalam negeri sangatlah menolong petani Indonesia yang kesusahan menjajakan beras hasil panen waktu epidemi COVID-19 serta peresapan itu pun beresiko pada kestabilan harga pada tingkat petani.
"Selainnya buat memupuk persediaan sebagai cadangan beras pemerintahan, kesibukan peresapan gabah/beras petani dalam negeri ini gerakkan ekonomi pada tingkat petani hingga bisa mengembalikan roda ekonomi sesuai pedoman Bapak Presiden Jokowi waktu endemi Covid-19 ini", kata Awaludin Iqbal.
Ia menambah sukses Bulog dalam meresap beras tak lepas dari usaha keras runtunannya yang bekerja tiap hari dengan skema "shifting" atau piket yang dikelola secara baik di tengah-tengah keadaan epidemi COVID-19 maka dari itu pekerjaan operasional di Perum Bulog tergolong pekerjaan peresapan gabah atau beras dalam negeri selalu terwujud secara baik.
