Simple Ideas That Can Make Your Wedding Memorable and Unique
One of the top viral videos of 2009 was "Jill and Kevin's Wedding Dance Entrance." As of today, it has been viewed almost 52 million times. This would be a five-minute dance that took some planning and use. However, the concept was simple; "Let's dance in to the church." It tells you a little creativity along with a amount of planning and employ may make the wedding memorable, not just for you plus your future spouse, but also for all of the attendees. After all, you spend time picking your dress, the shades, the meal as well as the music; why not take some extra time to give the wedding a unique twist?
As a married relationship DJ/MC/Event Coordinator, I've took part in numerous weddings and possess seen some unique but simple-to-execute ideas. You may want to consider one of them ideas on your event, or they might just help you brainstorm your own.
The James Bond garter removal
There would have been a groom who wished to increase the risk for garter removal a very big affair. After your beloved partner threw her bouquet, I called for your daughter's groom ahead lift off her garter. webpage was nowhere found, but it was the blueprint. Before the reception started, I had installed strobes and police lamps inside the room which are unnoticeable towards the audience.
As the suspicion of his absence grew greater, I coordinated the lights in the ballroom to become completely shut down. I then totally Mission: Impossible theme song and started up the strobes and police lamps. One million candlelight spotlights shone all over the room, finally landing on groom, who was hiding inside a corner. He then ran toward bride, who had previously been sitting in her chair around the oasis, slid over the floor like he was sliding into home plate, and wound up underneath her dress to get rid of the garter.
Making "Wonderful World" a tad bit more wonderful
The father of your beloved partner would dance along with his daughter for the father/daughter dance to "Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. Before dad brought his daughter on the party area, I had, quietly and discreetly, handed out the language for the song to every other guest and gave them brief instructions. As the song played along with the father and his awesome daughter danced, your entire wedding reception had gotten up and circled them about the party area and sang the lyrics for them in the music that has been playing. It would have been a touching and teary moment.
The Lawless Duel
The groom, Ben Lawless, and his bride, Nicole, danced their first dance together. It ended abruptly because best man, dressed as a "bad guy" jumped along with a sword and challenged the groom with a duel. This two-minute choreographed duel ended if the beautiful bride was victorious over evil after her groom was "injured."
Choreographed dances
One from the latest trends is couples choreographing their first dance. Usually the couples begin which has a slow, some song and dance then get away right into a modern, fast, choreographed dance. There are many samples of this on YouTube. A few are "Wedding Thriller Dance," "T&A: Wedding Dance," and "Wedding first dance w/ surprise Jack Johnson Michael Jackson." All of these videos have numerous views and just keep going for a couple of minutes. However, they are very memorable.
Simple but powerful
One with the most emotionally powerful ideas is piecing together a DVD/PowerPoint presentation on your reception. This is simply a collage of photos of the bride and groom. It starts with photos of each one as small children, eventually building to after they meet. It continues showing their life together, finally arriving for the big day. This presentation might be shown during coffee and cake and include photos of bride's and groom's friends and relatives. When you put music to these photos, it is very personal and emotional.
As you can observe, a little little bit of creativity and energy may make your wedding day ceremony or reception be noticeable for everybody.
