Sariagri - Banyak metode dapat dijalankan penduduk dalam mengartikan Hari Ulangi Tahun (HUT) Kemerdekaan RI ke-76. Seperti yang sudah dilakukan penduduk daerah bawang merah di Kelurahan Kedung Asem Kecamatan Wonoasih Kota Probolinggo Jawa Timur.
Sekalian melakukan rutinitas bersihkan bawang merah, beberapa petani di Kelurahan Terlanjur Asem mengingati Hari Kemerdekaan RI dengan kenakan pita merah putih di kepala. Hal semacam itu dijalankan jadi wujud cerminan kesayangan terhadap tanah air serta rasa nasionalisme.
"Kami sedang bersuka cita atas panen meluap kesempatan ini. Sebab itu rasa sukur kami mewujudkan dengan kenakan ikat kepala merah putih sembari kerjakan proses pembersihan dan protol bawang merah," kata seseorang petani bawang merah, Kusumawati ke Saragri, Selasa (17/8).
Disamping kenakan ikat kepala merah putih, beberapa petani bawang merah di Kelurahan Kedung Asem pula mengibarkan bendera merah putih di kitaran tempat di tempat.

"tidak cukup dengan kenakan ikat kepala sebagai bentuk sukur atas Kemerdekaan RI yang udah diperoleh, tetapi pun semangat juang beberapa pahlawan yang sudah luruh pantas kita contoh lewat kerja fakta meskipun keadaan masih alami endemi covid-19, " tandas salah seseorang entrepreneur bawang merah, Wage Adi Sosro.
