1 - The safest option is to set a snake trap.

You can try shooing the snake into a large garbage bin if the above method is too direct. You can guide the snake inside the bin with a broom by putting the bin on the ground. It's important that you don't hurt the snake by smacking or pushing it. A rubbish bin with smooth sides prevents snakes from climbing out and allows safe relocation.

A pillowcase and a shirt will work as a pest screen if your snake is inside your house. Your shirt or light blanket will be able to cover the snake, so fold it over and put it in the pillowcase. Place the pillowcase inside a garbage can or large storage container so the snake can escape if desired. The lid should have holes for air flow. This snake is safe to transport now.
