Sariagri - Banyak langkah dapat dikerjakan masyarakat dalam mengartikan Hari Ulangi Tahun (HUT) Kemerdekaan RI ke-76. Seperti yang tengah dilakukan penduduk daerah bawang merah di Kelurahan Kedung Asem Kecamatan Wonoasih Kota Probolinggo Jawa Timur.
Sekalian lakukan aktivitas bersihkan bawang merah, beberapa petani di Kelurahan Terlanjur Asem peringati Hari Kemerdekaan RI dengan kenakan pita merah putih di kepala. Hal tersebut dikerjakan sebagai wujud cerminan kesayangan pada tanah air serta rasa nasionalisme.

"Kami sedang bersuka cita atas panen berlimpah ini kali. Lantaran itu rasa sukur kami mewujudkan dengan kenakan ikat kepala merah putih sembari mengerjakan proses pembersihan dan protol bawang merah," kata seorang petani bawang merah, Kusumawati terhadap Saragri, Selasa (17/8).
Selainnya kenakan ikat kepala merah putih, banyak petani bawang merah di Kelurahan Kedung Asem mengibarkan bendera merah putih di seputar area di tempat.

"gak hanya dengan memakai ikat kepala sebagai bentuk sukur atas Kemerdekaan RI yang sudah digapai, tapi pula semangat juang banyak pahlawan yang udah tumbang layak kita contoh lewat kerja riil walau keadaan masih alami epidemi covid-19, " tandas salah seseorang pebisnis bawang merah, Wage Adi Sosro.
