요즘은 코로나 때문에
모든 생활이 슬로우 해지다 보니
오랜만에 미국 생활에 대한 글을 쓰게되는 것 같다ㅠ
남들은 미국까지가서 이게 뭐냐며
불쌍하게 보기도 하지만 나름 외국에서 이런 시련을
겪어보는 것도 큰 경험이라고 생각하고있다.
또 내 딴에는 즐길건 즐기며 살고있다고 생각하기에
미국생활에 대한 불만은 전혀없다.
오늘은 함께 일하는 코워커 분께서 미국에 왔으면
한번쯤 복권같은 것도 사봐야한다고 하셔서
퇴근하고 집에 돌아가는 길에
주유소를 들러 복권을 사보았다
(미국은 보통 주유소안에 편의점이 있다.)
미국에는 파워볼,슈퍼로또,메가 밀리온스 등등
다양한 복권이 있지만 오늘은
가장 대표격인 파워볼 오토넘버를 하나 구입해봤다.
구매 방법은 아주 간단하다.
그냥 카운터에 가서
"Can i get a Powerball with auto number?"
라고하면 자리에서 한장 뽑아준다.

2$밖에 안되는 가격에 비해
잭팟 당첨시 6900만 달러(한화 약824억)😵
우리나라 로또는 애들 장난 수준ㅠ
사실 당첨같은건 바라지도 않고
미국에 왔으니 최대한 종업원이랑 얘기도 섞어
보려는 심산으로 구매하는 거라 별 기대는
없지만 금액이 워낙크니 가끔 망상은 한다😅
2불짜리 치고는 꽤 즐거운 효과를 주는거같다ㅋㅋ
파워볼 추첨은 매주 수,토에 시작되니
이틀 뒤(구매 당시 월요일)에 확인해봐야겠다!

그래도 재미는 있었으니
