Haindl Tarot Deck - Bottom of the Cup Things To Know Before You Get This

Our My Review of the Haindl Tarot - benebell wen PDFs

At the top of the card, in black lettering, we see the name of the person illustrated on the card. Along the bottom, we see the card name, suit and instructions, in black lettering. Under this, likewise in black lettering, we see the conventional name for the card. Haindl has picked various cultures to represent each of the suits.

Daughter of Stones (Pentacles) in the West is the conventional card of the Princess of Stones. In the Haindl deck, she is represented by White Buffalo Female. Boy of Stones (Pentacles) in the West is the conventional card of the Prince of Stones. In the Haindl deck, he is represented by Chief Seattle.

Rachel has included numerous spreads in the book - my favorite being a spread called the Hagal spread. Somebody else liked it - because this is the spread included in the LWB also! (OK - Rachel does state that the Hagal spread was created particularly for the Haindl deck.) There are three parts to this spread: the first 4 cards (from the small arcana pips) form the middle section, and show existing conditions and beliefs.

The last three cards (taken from the court cards) form a line under the first 4 cards, and a Helper, Yourself and a Teacher. Rachel also reveals the following spreads, with examples: the Celtic Cross, Dream Readings and Body Readings. This Is Noteworthy are worth the rate of admission! I would not suggest this deck to someone new to the Tarot.

I extremely recommend it to those with at least a very little Tarot background, those who want to use it for meditation, spiritual growth, ritual, ceremony or individual readings. And yes - this would be a deck that a collector would desire to have!
