Here's how you can catch a snake.

1 - The safest option is to set a snake trap.
It's best to hire a snake expert if you can't catch it yourself.
When you have identified the snake positively and know that it is not venomous, then the easiest way is to grab it with thick gloves and hold it for quite some time. Put it in a pillowcase and move it.

In case the above method is too direct, you can try to throw the snake into a trash bin. Put the bin on the ground and guide the snake inside with a broom. Make sure you don't hit or push the snake inside. A smooth side will prevent the snake from climbing out of the bin, which will allow for a safe relocation.

If your snake is indoors, you can remove it using a shirt and a pillowcase. Scoop up the snake with your shirt or blanket and place the shirt in the pillowcase.
