Gunarso sampaikan kalau beras Si Rice dibuat di tempat sendiri dengan Varietas Mekongga dengan kwalitas Super Premium telah sama sesuai standard internasional, serta lewat export beras si rice ini PT Si Hyang Seri (Persero) berperan untuk negara atau pemerintahan.
Saat itu, Direktur Khusus PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (Persero) atau RNI, Arief Prasetyo Adi, selaku calon induk Holding BUMN Pangan, berkata kalau kesempatan baik pelepasan export beras pertama ini jadi milestones BUMN Cluster Pangan untuk go global di komoditas beras.
"Selainnya penuhi kepentingan nasional untuk komoditas beras, RNI bersama SHS pun mewujudkan export penuhi permohonan Arab Saudi," kata Arief.
Mengenai aktivitas export beras akan dijalankan dengan cara bertahap. Pada Oktober 2021 ini mengantarkan sejumlah 20 ton atau sebesar 21.200 dolar AS.
Dan, dalam bulan November 2021 akan datang akan menaikkan export jadi enam container atau senilai 120 ton, dengan nilai 127.200 dolar AS.
"Hingga keseluruhan s/d bulan November 2021, dapat mengekspor beras sejumlah tujuh container atau mungkin kurang lebih 140 ton beras, dengan nilai per ton sejumlah 1.060 dolar AS, atau keseluruhan sejumlah 148.400 dolar AS," tutur Arief.
