Sariagri - Badan Usaha Punya Negara (BUMN) Cluster Pangan bidang pertanian lewat PT Si Hyang Seri (Persero) atau SHS mengerjakan export beras ke Arab Saudi.
"Ini jadi kebanggaan dan kami senang produk dalam negeri Beras Indonesia untuk dunia yang dibuat oleh PT Si Hyang Seri (Persero)," kata Direktur Pokok PT SHS, Pegawai Gunarso di Jakarta, Jumat (29/10).
Gunarso memberikan kalau beras Si Rice dibuat di tempat sendiri dengan Varietas Mekongga dengan kualitas Super Premium telah sama sesuai standard internasional, dan lewat export beras si rice ini PT Si Hyang Seri (Persero) berperan buat negara atau pemerintahan.

"Disamping penuhi kepentingan nasional buat komoditas beras, RNI bersama SHS pula mengaktualkan export penuhi keinginan Arab Saudi," kata Arief.
Akan halnya pekerjaan export beras akan dijalankan dengan bertahap. Di Oktober 2021 ini kirim sejumlah 20 ton atau sebesar 21.200 dolar AS.
Dan, dalam bulan November 2021 waktu depan akan menambah export jadi enam container atau senilai 120 ton, dengan nilai 127.200 dolar AS.
"Hingga keseluruhan s/d bulan November 2021, akan mengekspor beras sejumlah tujuh container atau mungkin kurang lebih 140 ton beras, dengan nilai per ton sejumlah 1.060 dolar AS, atau keseluruhan sebesar 148.400 dolar AS," kata Arief.
