Sariagri - Badan Usaha Punya Negara (BUMN) Cluster Pangan bidang pertanian lewat PT Si Hyang Seri (Persero) atau SHS lakukan export beras ke Arab Saudi.
"Ini jadi kebanggaan dan kami senang produk dalam negeri Beras Indonesia untuk dunia yang dibuat oleh PT Si Hyang Seri (Persero)," papar Direktur Khusus PT SHS, Pegawai Gunarso di Jakarta, Jumat (29/10).
Gunarso mengemukakan kalau beras Si Rice dibuat di area sendiri dengan Varietas Mekongga dengan kualitas Super Premium telah sesuai sama standard internasional, serta lewat export beras si rice ini PT Si Hyang Seri (Persero) berperan untuk negara atau pemerintahan.
Sedangkan, Direktur Inti PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (Persero) atau RNI, Arief Prasetyo Adi, sebagai calon induk Holding BUMN Pangan, mengucapkan kalau kesempatan baik pelepasan export beras pertama ini jadi milestones BUMN Cluster Pangan buat go global pada komoditas beras.
"Kecuali penuhi kepentingan nasional buat komoditas beras, RNI bersama SHS pula mewujudkan export penuhi permohonan Arab Saudi," kata Arief.
Tentang hal kesibukan export beras dapat dijalankan dengan bertahap. Pada Oktober 2021 ini kirim sejumlah 20 ton atau sebesar 21.200 dolar AS.
Dan, pada bulan November 2021 nantinya dapat mempertingkat export jadi enam container atau sejumlah 120 ton, dengan nilai 127.200 dolar AS.
