Hz. Aise radiyallahu anha anlatiyor: "Resulullah aleyhissalatu vesselam, ben alti yasinda iken benimle evlendi. Medine'ye geldik. Beni'l-Haris Ibnu'l-Hazrec kabilesine indik. Ben hummaya yakalandim. Saclarim dokuldu. (Iyilesince) sacim yine uzadi. Annem Ummu Ruman, ben arkadaslarimla salincakta oynarken, bana geldi, benden ne istedigini bilmeksizin yanina gittim. Elimden tuttu. Evin kapisinda beni durdurdu. Evimizde, Ensardan bir grup kadin vardi. "Hayirli, bereketli olsun!", "Ugurlu mubarek olsun!" diye dualar, tebrikler ettiler. Annem beni onlara teslim etti. Onlar kilik-kiyafetime ceki duzen verdiler. Beni, (kusluk vakti aniden) Resulullah aleyhissalatu vesselam(in gelisinden) baska bir sey sasirtmadi. Annem beni O'na teslim etti. O gun ben dokuz yasinda idim."
