Some time around F11 or so, I had told some others I was going to give myself up as a target. The common reception was that I thought I was running the game. Fact of the matter is, I had to act like I thought I was in charge. It was part of underselling my social game. I had told Mario and a few others in DMs that I didn't feel like I was running the game whatsoever; as a matter of fact, I was convinced that I was actually on the **bottom** of it all.
Now, onto volunteering as a target. I honestly am disappointed that you of all people didn't pick up on this, but I guess the info you got was cherry-picked, so it does make sense. Point is, my main motivation for giving myself up as a target was __to gain social capital__. I said it myself to people: *I could not bring myself to throw anyone under the bus as a target*. It was partially true, since I had been wanting to make a move on Fisher for 2 rounds. But I knew it wouldn't work so early. And if I was eliminated by volunteering as a decoy target, so be it. Consider it a sacrifice of war.
After reading your confessional, you had made it clear that you thought it was a stupid decision in your confessional. But from my end, I wasn't planning to blow up anyone's games, I just wanted to build the bridges.
