Sariagri - Sekretaris Perum Bulog, Awaludin Iqbal menuturkan manifestasi pemasokan beras dalam negeri yang sedang dilakukan Bulog per 22 September 2021 sampai 1.003.088 ton atau sama dengan 1.879.146 ton gabah kering panen (GKP). Bio Farma Peresapan beras cadangan pemerintahan itu dikerjakan di semua area kerja Bulog di Indonesia.
"Sukses kami dalam lakukan peresapan beras dalam negeri ini adalah usaha giat Unit Kerja Penyediaan (Satker ADA) Perum Bulog dan dan loyalitas Partner Kerja yang tak berhenti-hentinya meresap beras pada tingkat petani," tutur Awaludin Iqbal, Rabu (22/9/2021).
Ia mengatakan di 22 September sejumlah 177 ribu ton beras dalam negeri teresap Satker ADA dan 826 ribu ton teresap Partner Kerja Binaan (Koperasi serta Non Koperasi).
Menurutnya, peresapan beras dalam negeri amat menolong petani Indonesia yang persoalan menjajakan beras hasil panen sepanjang epidemi COVID-19 serta peresapan itu pun berefek kepada kestabilan harga pada tingkat petani.
"Disamping untuk memupuk stock menjadi cadangan beras pemerintahan, pekerjaan peresapan gabah/beras petani dalam negeri ini gerakkan ekonomi pada tingkat petani hingga bisa mengembalikan roda ekonomi sama dengan instruksi Bapak Presiden Jokowi sepanjang wabah Covid-19 ini", kata Awaludin Iqbal.
Ia menambah kesuksesan Bulog dalam mempernyerap beras tidak lepas dari usaha giat barisannya yang bekerja sehari-hari dengan skema "shifting" atau piket yang diurus secara baik di tengah-tengah keadaan wabah COVID-19 hingga pekerjaan operasional di Perum Bulog tergolong aktivitas peresapan gabah atau beras dalam negeri masih terwujud dengan bagus.
