In selecting the most cost-effective mode, follow these guidelines:

Over 500 kg, air freight becomes uneconomical.
A China-US shipment can take up to 40 days or more by ocean freight, which generally costs $2-$4 per kg.
Air freight can be an economic choice for China-US shipments between 150 kg and 500 kg, which will take 8-10 days.
Compared with regular air freight, express air freight is a few days faster, but more expensive.
For packages under 150 kg, express shipping is an economic option.
