Innovative - In 2018, when I finished my GCSEs I wanted to have a productive summer, and find a part time job. However, as a student who lived in a small town, it was difficult to find local jobs and I didn't want the hassle of travelling to different towns just for a job. As a result, I encouraged myself to think outside the box, and managed to think of starting my own business and becoming an online tutor, rather than the traditional route of getting a part time job; this gave me the benefit to work at times which suited me, with minimal expenses. I am still doing this job with my academic commitments at university, because of the flexibility, and it allowed me to develop my skill set of being more confident when communicating with others, as well as developing my organisational and time management skills as I normally tend to plan my schedule in advance in order to schedule tutoring lessons.

Analytical - I am excellent in analysing numerical data, such as charts. As a student who got a grade 8 in GCSE Mathematics, I aim for excellence in all I do and I pay attention to detail. During university, in my Mathematics module, I was required to analyse various different types of data, in which I excelled at and achieved 96% overall in my first year. In addition to this, one of my modules, Economic Data Analysis was a module in which I had to analyse different types of data; some were group projects and some were individual activities. Overall, I excelled in both working as part of a team as well as working by myself and achieved 88% as my final grade.

Collaborative - As an individual who has worked as part of a team countless times, I have developed a way to excel no matter who I'm working with. At first, I was quite shy and nervous when working with people who I didn't know. However, in 2018, I took part in the National Citizen Service (NCS) where I had to work together with people who I didn't know and after weeks of numerous activities and projects together, I was much more confident working with others, as part of a team. During my first year of university, as it was remote because of the COVID-19 pandemic, all our team projects were online, which further allowed me to showcase my collaborative skills. Furthermore, after working as a customer service remotely, and attending meetings and , helping each other in the workplace, working as part of a team comes naturally to me and I'm confident I won't have any problems whatsoever working as part of a team, and collaborating with others.
