-Main problem and issue is that their has been an attempt in closing the gap of education outcomes between indigenous and non indigenous student however this attempt has failed as it reveals that NAPLAN Nd other testing that takes place in an education setting and environment is just shaming and displaying the weakness rather the strengths of indigenous student. It also demonstrates in a range of orders the inequality of education in Australia
-Ford main argument is that the attempts in closing the gap of education outcomes is causing a bigger problem rather removing the gap completely

-This is the case as Ford indicates that testing, especially the NAPLAN works at the advantage of white elites and not indigenous student as there is a large language barrier. This barrier is highlighted mainly throughout the Northern Territory schooling and can be visible by observing the following graphs and statistics results.

-Language barrier plays a dramatic role and can be the result to why the gap of educations outcomes between non indigenous and indigenous students is so large. This is also evident in student who's second language is English.

-Another issue and elements fords puts forward about why the gaps of education outcomes is rather big between non indigenous and indigenous student comes down to the living environment and setting, the wealth, the income of families is rather low , health condition are poor and not looked after compared to white students.
-Indigenous Student will be locked in inequality and institutional racism for a period of time as information and inequalities is not emphasised
-Something will only be done once it contains some sort of benefit for the White elites otherwise inequalities and improvement in closing the gap of education outcomes will remain the same in schooling
-Critical race theory is another issues that is causing inequalities in Australia education between indigenous and non indigenous student
-As the results of NAPLAN are displayed and evident all over the school websites, no disclosure of results which cause the confidences of student to decrease this is case especially for indigenous students. Confidence is an important element as it can motivate a student to work harder and believe they have the abilities to achievement whatever the want, however once results are displayed all over the net student confidence will no doubt decrease ( for example if you failed at a subject would you like the of the university to know your mark ? Or would you prefer to know that you failed , work harder next time without everyone knowing you abilities and weakness) ? Question to the class
o Another issue thAt ford put ford is that social justices is about fairness and equality however NAPLAN and other testing do not demonstrate such fairness and equality. Each student should be equality however, giving each the same exam who have language barrier and different strengths and weakness doesn't not provide fairness or equality just demonstrates the in inequality and this is especially witnessed for indigenous students
