NobleProg MEA conducted a survey to check which of the certifications are going to take the top 5 positions in 2017. And here is what they found:
1. Project Management Professional (PMP®)
Project Management Professional stands first on the list of the top 5 certifications. An internationally recognized professional credential offered by the PMI® (Project Management Institute), PMP is one that lands professionals the top most jobs in the industry. Attaining this credential signifies that you understand the universal project management language. You are also connected to a large community of professionals, experts, and organizations worldwide in the same industry.

What are the criteria you need to meet?
If you are planning on taking up this certification, here’s what you need to meet the criteria:
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience designing available, fault-tolerant, cost-efficient, and scalable distributed systems on AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one high-level programming language.
• The ability to identify and define requirements for an AWS-based application.
• The experience to deploy hybrid systems with on-premises and AWS components.
• The capability to provide best practices to build secure and reliable applications on the AWS platform.
Where can you get certification training?

What is the criteria you need to meet?
If you want to pursue this certification, you will need to first have five years of cumulative paid full-time work experience in two of the eight domains in the (ISC)2 CISSP CBL®.
You could receive one year of waiver if you have a four year college degree or regional equivalent or an additional credential from the (ISC)2 approved list. If you do get this waiver, you will only need four years of full-time professional security work experience in two or more of the eight domains in the CISSP CBK®.
How many people hold this certification?
As of the 4th of October 2016, there are 110,408 (ISC)2 members holding the CISSP certification worldwide. Don’t let this number scare you. CISSP Course are still in extreme demand.
Where can you get your certification training?

This certification has no prerequisites that you will need to fulfil. In fact, this certification acts like a prerequisite if you plan on taking up the next level ITIL certifications.

As a certified data scientist, your average annual salary will be $118,709.
What are the skills you will need to become a data scientist and the criteria you need to meet?
1. Python Coding – The most common coding language, Python is required in this role, along with Java, Perl, or C/C++.
2. Understanding of the Hadoop Platform – There isn’t usually always a requirement to know Hadoop, but it is preferred. Having experience in Pig or Hive is a strong selling point.
3. SQL Database/ Coding – At interviews you will still be judged on your ability to write and execute complex queries in SQL, so knowing the language is a must.
4. Unstructured data – It is an absolute must that you are able to work with unstructured data no matter where it comes from.
You will need to have a few years of relevant work experience to take up any data science certification exam from any institute.
