Black Lake
Danau yg terletak di bagian Selatan kastil Hogwarts, dengan luas sebesar ½ mil, danau hitam menjadi muara untuk semua saluran air di kastil Hogwarts. Blake Lake disebut juga dengan Great Lake ini mempunyai hewan-hewan yg ada di dalam danau hitam seperti: Merpeople, Grindylows, dan Giant Squid.
Tempat ini juga pernah ditempatkan sebagai kejuaraan Triwizard. Orang-orang yg terpilih sebagai peserta Triwizard yaitu Viktor Krum dari Durmstrang, Fleur Delacour dari Beauxbatons, dan perwakilan dari Hogwarts Cedric Diggory & Harry Potter.
Mereka berempat harus menyelam ke dalam dan melawan makhluk-makhluk laut di Danau Hitam untuk mengambil sesuatu yg sangat berharga yaitu orang-orang yg mereka sayangi. Temperatur air di danau itu sangatlah dingin. Di dalamnya juga banyak tumbuhan-tumbuhan laut, dan batu karang.
