In the rural areas I coach, we take only the 24 children who sign up for play. The flyer is sent to their school and we hand it out.

Our research has shown that a coach should have at least 5 to 6 players. If you have 40 children, you would need seven coaches. This number of coaches is difficult to find. To train them all and get them on the same page would be a managerial miracle worthy of Donald Trump. Teams this large rarely see players developing to their full potential, as the head coach and his assistants are spread so thin.
The same goes for practicing. Do you want to lose your job? Don't practice.even once. I promise you, someone will steal your practice. Not just because someone is your back-up doesn't make you better. Ask Drew Bledsoe.
You can get a better understanding of your talent by attending FBS (D1A), FCS(D1-AA), DII and DIII games at schools around your area. football player game This will let you observe, firsthand, the level of competition at each level so you can make a more realistic assessment.
