How to Play Fan Tan
Fan Tan is sometimes referred to fan-tan, is a classic Chinese game of gambling. It is basically a game of pure luck, and shares many similarities with blackjack. It was first invented around 700 BC in the province of Shang Dynasty. The game involved playing cards and using the same nine-card deck that players playing regular card games would play with.

The nine cards are set out in the same way as they would be in the normal game. At the start of the game, each player is dealt two cards, one face-down with one facing the other. Fan-tan has two rules that are unique to it. The first one is designed for the east , and one for the west. This requires that the cards are laid out face-down from west-to-east. This can be confusing for beginners players.

After all the cards have been dealt, each player chooses a number from one to seven, and then counts from one to seven as the remaining cards to play. At this point the dealer will pick the special card, known as the fan-tan, and place it face-up on the table. The card is used for betting. It is used for placing bets. The players mark the numbers on the card. The betting process is performed using the standard 52-card deck. It is then completed after the deck is turned over.

Each player can only view one card at a given time, so the cards are being turned one at a time. This card is known as the fan-tan jeng or "master-card". Players may bet against each or against each other. They can also bet on the group or "tea bag". They may fold, however, they must first rotate the deck using their tea bags before folding. They are ready to play another game of bets once the cards are turned.

At the end of the game there's a bet for the highest sum on a single deck, this card goes to the player who was the loser. The dealer then deals the the deck, starting with the fan-tan jeng, and continues through to the final card known as the "king".

The game is over when each player has received their final card. At the beginning of the next game, players have to add one to the already marked card. This is accomplished by adding the card to the pile facing up before placing it on the top of the pile. The dealer will turn the last card to the left and then deal the deck to each participant.

Fan Tan is originally Chinese folk entertainment that was adopted by Westerners in the late nineteenth century. Nowadays, it is played as an add-on to card games like Hold'em, Texas Hold'em, seven-card stud, and the well-known solitaire game.
