What's the max distance that you just reasonably really feel you would see a deer at to shoot and what's your taking pictures capacity? I am a 300 Blackout person/hunter. I've taken 8 deer with one shot a chunk with my Blackout and three with the 300 Whisper, essentially the same cartridge. 50yd. Where I've been hunting, the max distance I could see a deer is 229yd. With the bullets I use, the max distance for reliable expansion with my Blackout is 200yd, so the Blackout works for me. Why am 308 150 grain on a 6.Eight discussion board? 1) I get pleasure from totally different calibers. 2) I want to attempt something that might give me a bit more hunting distance than my 300 Blackout (I've been invited to hunt some other places). 3) My Wilson Combat 16" 6.8 barreled higher is proving to be Very accurate, equal to my DD 16" 300 Blackout upper.
