Play Tai Sai: A Strategy for Winning
Sic Bo, also known as tai sai or ding said big and low, is basically a contest of pure luck from ancient Chinese nature, played on three dice. Chuck-as-luck and grand Hazard are two similar variants. Both have English origins. Hi-low dice literally means "little dice", while dai were and dai so are more common. Each side has a certain number of cards, ranging from one to nine, plus three additional cards for each player, designated as a chi or rin. All cards are placed face-down on the table.

The players place their bets and one player takes the number card from the flip. The other must call. If there's no call on the flip, the person who calls first will win both the amount of each caller's bid and the total bets of all the other players, called the triple betting. The triple bet is the sum of the bets plus the remaining regular bets made by all players. This is the full bet.

If the triple bet is successful, the player who called the first will remain in the game regardless of the outcome of the round. All players who placed their wagers before the call are removed and the winner must pay a house edge. The actual payout and the odds of winning may be adjusted slightly for convenience. The house edge is the difference between the final odds for a draw and the odds for a house win. That makes the numbers easier to understand.

The random lottery is the best thing about Tai Sai. It can be a lot fun, especially if your dealer is a skilled bettor. As you get more accustomed to playing the Sic Bo game and the different random layouts, you will find that you can come up with your own layouts, sometimes better than the dealer's.

The random selection does not have to be random. It can still be relevant to the game. The dealer's ability to mix up the numbers, as well as his or her dice accuracy can give the game an element of surprise. Randomizing the numbers on the card counters is possible, too. Random number generation has also influenced the ancient Chinese game of Baccarat. Players dealt one card face-up and used a die roll to determine the numbers on the card counters. This method of picking numbers was originally created to make gambling more difficult since it is impossible not to predict what number will appear.

Tai sai can be played with the dealer. The dealer can give you more chips than your bank could. Remember that this game is a game where luck is your friend. If the numbers on your cards are bad, you will simply lose more chips than you have already collected. Playing tai sai is a great way to win big money.

One of the best bets in terms of value when it comes to the classic game of Sic Bo is to bet small. This is true for both the standard game, in which you bet the same amount of chips that you would have won had you won the hand, and the bonus rounds in which players win bonus points for their bets (e.g., the third highest bet in a multi-table tournament wins three times the amount raised). This holds true for both the regular game and the bonus rounds. Small bets can often pay off when you have drawn a low number of possible combinations.

You can use the dealer to play tai sai, as we've already said. You can also choose not to be seated at the table and deal on your own. You can then use the dealer’s good luck (or poor luck) to your benefit. It is worth learning some strategy to beat the best players at this ancient Chinese game.
