Chasing A Flush Online
After 3 to 4 blind levels, watch out for the loose players trying to take down the pot. You've been playing very tight, so you have the image as someone who plays only premium hands. Now it's time to start betting the marginal hands as people are starting to tighten up as the paid positions close in. If you have a premium hand, and someone else is betting before you, either make a big raise or move all in, you don't want to be in the position where you have to make a call. If you make the big raise you'll intimidate the other players at the table, giving you creditability at the poker table.

When you underbet the pot you give opponents the correct odds to call with straight or flush draw hands. You want to avoid this because you want them to have to fold so you can win straight away.

For low entry fee online tournament players I saw this book as a glimmer of hope in that someone may have put forth some thought in to how to actually win tournaments consistently at that level. It seemed to me though that playing "small ball" poker with clusters of players who have little regard for position and the real value of hole cards might be an interesting experience, but not profitable.

When your M gets to 5, that's your all in zone. Pick the best hand you think you'll have of the round and go all in. If click here UTG, go all in no matter what you have. Do not take the blinds without going all in.

If there is more than 1 opponent in the pot and I'm in early position, I don't c-bet unless I have a hand. This rule sounds predictable but it rarely causes a problem. If I played against the same group of people on a regular basis, I would mix it up occasionally. But for the average poker player, this is just fine.
