It was something I saw a lot this season with my own team. There were some talented guys who felt they weren't being given a fair chance. They complained and bickered. These guys hid when coaches put together special teams. It doesn't really matter if it was fear, or if they felt special team were beneath them. They lost it.

In the British league season, most teams play in 'form'. Cup matches are more of an opportunity for 'giant murder' and should be avoided if your goal is to win the football pools.
