What do you think you have done lately that is rude to me?

-Do you think about what the counselor said before you ground me?

If they say no give them an example. If they say yes, then say "How do you think I feel about this?"
1. Think about it. What have they actually done to make you hate them?
-nicer to Rose
-I come home and you say something rude not hello
-grounds me for very long periods of time (doesn't listen to the counselor)
-you presumably don't think about how I feel
-you haven't told me you loved me since last year at least
3. Ask them if they feel they have been doing what you hate them for. Do not directly use the word "hate" if you think this may anger them. If they say no give them an example. If they say yes, then say "How do you think I feel about this?". After they acknowledge the example, ask them the question. Ask them to keep them in your place and think.

4. Make sure they know how you feel about what is happening.
5. Tell them you haven't exactly been liking them for this lately. While saying this keep your tone cool and calm.
6. If they object, ask if you can finish what you are saying.
7. Tell them you hate them.
8. Ask them how they feel about this. DO NOT be mean about it. If they get angry, ask them to please calm down so you can have a civilized conversation with them.
9. Do not drop the topic until you know how they feel and are not showing any signs of anger.
10. Drop the topic. They know how you feel, you know how they feel. Try not to bring it up again.
