However, if you are operating under conditions where fouling or scaling could occur (such as questionable water quality and high temperatures), then chemical cleaning may be necessary to maintain efficiency. In this case, Cleaning in Place (CIP) is a great solution for cleaning the interior surfaces of closed systems.
