Bernhard Burgener vs David Degen is another move in the FC Basel owner dispute. Burgener has the support of the Board of Directors. However, no agreement is reached.

Burgener and his crew have made a move in the dispute over the owners. Degen insists on his right of first refusal, which he would like to exercise at 16.4 million Francs. Centricus, which is a British asset manager, would also be able to hold an interest in the new company. Burgener would hold the majority of the votes.
According to the announcement from FC Basel Holding AG, Burgener and Degen are quickly seeking an out-of-court settlement "in the interest of FCB".
