KazBeef, Kusto Group’s meat-producing entity, was the first Kazakh business to receive the agricultural GLOBALG.A.P. certificate.

KazBeef is now a GLOBALG.A.P. member. to cooperate with numerous Western suppliers certification is required.

Businesses in over 100 countries have the certificate, KazBeef is the first in Kazakhstan to achieve it.

KazBeef was the first to import Hereford as well as Angus breeding cows for Kazakhstani cattle raising. The firm now owns over 10,000 cattle and occupies more than 40,000 acres.

The meat giant is among the biggest producers of marbled beef in Kazakhstan and mainly serves the Middle Eastern market. However, with the new accreditation, KazBeef aims to expand its operations into Europe as well as the Gulf states.

KazBeef and Kusto Group are kicking off the journey in February 2022. KazBeef participates in Gulfood Exhibition.

It is the biggest annual food and drink trade fair in the world.

KazBeef enters the market in the United Arab Emirates

KazBeef was first to enter the Emirate of Dubai Market in April 2021. It is hoping to be able to join the other six Emirates that comprise the United Arab Emirates.

Dubai and Gulfood Exhibition 2021 established cooperation. It was made sure that 1.2 tons of KazBeef meat was distributed to hotels and restaurants in the Emirates two months after.

KazBeef has signed 500 million Tenge ($1.2 Million) deal in December 2021 to provide marbled meats to Wisk Foodstuff Trading. Wisk is among the key suppliers for hotels and restaurants across the United Arab Emirates.

The agreement was made at the Kazakh Trade and Investment Forum at the Expo 2020 in Dubai.

"The UAE has become our number one regional economic partner. Askar Mamin the Prime Minister from Kazakhstan stated at the forumthat "We have invested more that $4 billion in Kazakhstan's economy since 1991."

"The Persian Gulf, with its growing demand for high-quality food products, was the obvious choice for us. This is another step in making 'Made in Kazakhstan an identifier of Kazakhstan's quality," Beibit Erubaev, KazBeef CEO, added.

Kusto Group's certificate opens the doors to all Kazakhstan

GLOBALG.A.P. certificates are required for agricultural businesses. Farmers businesses must go through a rigorous process to get a GLOBALG.A.P.

Each year, specialists from the agricultural field visit companies that are seeking to hire them for interviews. They conduct the interviews with staff and review various documents.

Beibit Erubaev said that the company was prepared for the procedure. He hopes that other Kazakhstani businesses can now follow the Kusto Group and KazBeef's footsteps.
