Kindle Short Reads - Now Available in the Kindle Store
The Kindle is in trouble, but not quite yet. Many people still think that Amazon's new e-book delivery program, Kindle, will take over the Kindle market completely. This may be due to Amazon's acquisition of Zune Video, a mobile video entertainment application, which also happens to be its primary application in the Kindle. But as of right now, the Kindle is doing better than ever, despite these media challenges.

Opinion: Kindle Short Reads are all dead under the Kindle Unlimited program. FACT: The new program only affects existing borrows from Amazon Prime and Kindle Unlimited. You can still sell Short Reads and other free books on the kindle. But the marketplace has gotten very competitive.

If you want to sell kindle short reads, go ahead. It's perfectly legal and there's no problem with it. You just need to make sure you're using the correct kindle formatting for your book so it'll look good on the kindle.

As far as book page lengths go, there's not much to worry about with short stories or even novels. Page lengths for most short stories are around 80 characters or fewer. A short story can easily be translated to an eBook in almost any format. There's plenty of free software out there to do this. You just need to know what you're looking for.

You can see the exact numbers of words that are permitted in each publication and if it is a standard or premium publication you will see a price range. If it is an ePub or digital/paperback publication you will only see a price range. This makes purchasing your books in the Kindle Store a real breeze.

If you are a long time reader and still don't have a Kindle, now may be a good time to start looking for one. Kindle is going through major changes all over the place including the addition of this service. They have already attracted many new customers and are seeing more sales on Kindles than ever before.
