Kindle Short Reads - Getting New Books Added Each Month
Lactose Intolerance on the Kindle Short Reads phenomenon: There was nothing wrong with the Kindle Short Reads program prior to the Kindle Unlimited acquisition. I still love the format, and use it often when I need a quick short read. The biggest problem I see is that people who used to enjoy borrowing books from their libraries now have to spend hundreds of dollars each time they visit the library (or their local book store). Fortunately, that's all about to change.

Opinion: Kindle Short Reads are dead under the latest Kindle Unlimited exclusive program. FACT: The latest program only affects existing borrows from Amazon Kindle Unlimited and not Kindle Short Reads. You will still be able to sell Short Reads and short stories. But, the marketplace has become extremely competitive.

I've been personally testing several new features coming to Kindles, one of which is Kindle Short Reads. After using it for a while, I found that I enjoyed the format just as much as I enjoyed the kindle short books. The most important thing for me was that I could find someone who wanted to lend me a Short Read without having to pay for it. This has always been an issue for many Kindle users.

Amazon says that Kindle Short Reads will be available in the US, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Canada, and Japan in Q2 of this year. The pricing hasn't been set yet, but it will be similar to the prices for the regular kindle books. The way I understand it, the subscription fee will cost less than the price of a single book purchased on the Kindle. It will also cost less than the price of a single page of a printed paper book. So, this feature is a plus for those people who enjoy reading their Kindles on the go.

Amazon has been experimenting with new royalty payment options for the Kindle. As I understand it, kindle short reads will be eligible for a reduced rate of royalty payment. This may be a great boon for aspiring short book authors. The reason I say this is because right now, many authors are waiting for the kindle to recognize their work before they complete it, due to the lack of payment from Amazon. With the availability of Kindle Short Reads, this should no longer be a problem.

There is another exciting feature in Kindle Short Reads. You can create a library of your favorite kinds of books, and choose which ones you'd like to read again. This is similar to what happens with your paper book collection. You want to keep your favorites on paper, but when you're done reading them, you'd like to put them back in the digital format so that you can access them again. Kindle Short Reads eliminates the problem.

There are a number of interesting books added to Kindle Short Reads each month. This includes classics, modern best sellers, New York Times best sellers, and popular self-help books, as well as other kinds of media-related books. Many authors choose to add different genres to their library so that they can always have something available for their customers. February is the 19th month with 50 new titles available.
