Our Academies Programme was set up in 2007 with the aim of providing opportunities to further the sporting talent of the young people who study with us. The College is a centre of sporting excellence that offers unrivalled opportunities for young people in Hastings, Eastbourne, Rother and the surrounding areas. Since their inception, the Academies have gone from strength to strength, with students supported to reach their full potential and many competing at the highest levels in their chosen sport. Written and supported by the former world champion, our boxing programme is also approved by the Amateur Boxing Association . You’ll work alongside professional coaches to improve your skills and fitness to a high standard – all you need is a passion and determination for a career in boxing. > Yacht & Water Sports
At the end of games and through match analysis we gain feedback from our players on how they think the game went. As coaches, we will do a post-match review on areas we believe need to be addressed. Through this, we will identify weaknesses in our performance and plan sessions to improve.

How To Apply
Our Sports Academies are open to all year old students regardless of the combination of subjects that you choose to study. A typical flag session (non-contact) will involve learning passing and catching techniques, improving defensive skills, and introducing the strategy of the game. We offer sessions of both non-contact and full contact versions of the game. We offer free places for pupils who are entitled to free school meals. Our action-packed facility has different activities, we encourage everyone to get involved! We offer skateboarding, scooter, BMX, trampoline, tricking, gymnastics, parkour, freestyle ski & snowboard, inline, cheer & acro.

The Rugby Academy looks to develop a competitive environment where all students feel part of a unique sports team and are all striving to improve individually and as a group. We want players to get the full experience of a rugby academy to improve their performances as well as their experience with the college. The academy will use elite level technology to help analyse the performance of both the team and the individual players. Alongside rugby fixtures and training sessions, students will get the opportunity to be part of a strength and conditioning programme to help excel their performance. As part of the Samuel Ryder Rugby Academy programme, students will be expected to participate in lessons and clubs for our lower school whilst also getting the opportunity to gain experience of coaching and officiating. Alongside this will be the opportunities for pupils to partake in the Saracens coach education programme and also gain coaching and officiating qualifications to enhance their rugby development.

Sessions will be active with skills being developed at an appropriate pace to the child’s experience and ability. Kirklees College has it’s own state-of-the-art gym and fitness studio at the Huddersfield Centre in the Waterfront Quarter which is free for all students to use. Strength, conditioning and fitness classes available with experienced staff and coaches including nutrition advice and speed training. This is supplemented by exceptional facilities helping to ensure our students are fully equipped to enhance their development.

Level 5
The Rugby Academy at Exeter College in partnership with Exeter Chiefs will provide education and rugby training required to support learners to reach the highest level in the sport. It can facilitate various gas and blood analysis tests, allowing our students to learn about and provide advice on many aspects of sports performance, fitness, health and wellbeing. Within one of our academies you'll get to study at an award-winning college and have access to the best tutors and professional sports coaches. In return we expect you to be as committed to your studies as you are to your sports training.

Swimming Academy
In co-operation with various partners we hope to help achieve this, and to be recognised throughout the South East as an excellent provider of cricket coaching. 사설토토먹튀 is a new, innovative sports company whose vision is to raise the bar in coaching in local schools. We have a team of coaches who specialise across different sports and we want to share our passion and knowledge of these sports with schools. Working with Rhino gives students the chance to experience professional coaching in a fun and engaging environment. They learn leadership skills and develop an understanding of healthy competition, as well as gaining a deeper appreciation of the rules of the game whilst learning and honing new and specific skills. Bedford Thunder Academy will enable you to be treated as a professional player whilst you are completing your studies.

Our Sports Academy aims to enhance the Level 3 experience of students whom have a passion for either Basketball or Football. Display a positive attitude, showing respect and sportsmanship for all. The Exeter College Women’s Rugby Academy regularly has players play for the Chiefs’ professional side. Students will gain support from their course tutor and DiSE mentor to explore transitional pathways to identify the best routes for them.

The Goffs Sports Academy

Beth England, a former Football Academy student, has gone on to play for Chelsea FC and England Ladies. Sports Performance Academies include Football , Rugby Union, Refereeing, Basketball, Netball, Cricket, Mixed Martial Arts , Health and Fitness, Inclusive Academy, Futsal, Individual Athlete Academy and Esports.

If you bring the determination and motivation, we will equip you with the skills and knowledge you will require to be successful in the football industry. Come and learn from professionals with industry knowledge and expertise, find out how you can apply your love for the game to business situations and discover the range of career options available to you. Students will have the opportunity to gain the very valuable Level 1 football coaching award. Once passed it can be used to find paid coaching opportunities with numerous coaching and sporting companies. This season we are looking to set up some games against Pro and Semi clubs, this will give the students a chance to play against the very best players at their age level. It will also be used to highlight positive things they have done during the games both individually and as a team.

Park View Academy of Sport is part of Park View Sixth form, which gives every student the best possible chance of success as they embark on what is a very exciting step in their life. Choosing a place to continue your education is a huge decision for everybody. However, as we are able to offer a fantastic sports programme alongside either A-Levels, Active IQ Fitness Diploma or a BTEC qualification. We are able to tailor our programme around each and every student, thus giving them the best chance of academic and sporting success.

Our aim is for athletes to aspire and achieve, not just in their chosen sport, but in all aspects of their lives at Woodham Academy and beyond. Rugby Academy
Put your family's fitness first with our family membership from only £1.25 per day for the whole family. Family Membership includes gym, functional training zone and classes for adults plus all junior activities for the kids. Pupils will attend active PSHE timetabled sessions, attend optional morning sessions and be supported with online recourses throughout the year.

Encouraging and developing young people to grow as athletes and individuals.


Students get the opportunity to train and play alongside giants academy players on the fringe of featuring in the super league and playing professional rugby. This is supplemented by exceptional facilities helping to ensure our students are fully equipped to deal with the rigours of rugby. The Lydiard Park ‘Sports’ Academy is a ‘Gifted and Talented’ Sports program designed to support the students excel in Sport. This unique opportunity helps identify and support talented pupils to excel in their area of activity. We target pupils who are performing at Swindon level or above, with a view to enhancing their sporting progress, whilst managing their academic and social development. Being an athlete is tough; the Sports Academy seeks to smooth the pathway to success.

Our fitness gym has the very latest fitness and exercise equipment and a selection of dumbbell weights. Esports Academy participate in the British Esports Championship competitions in Rocket League, League of Legends, Overwatch and FIFA. Netball team have been crowned champions of the Association of Colleges Sport Yorkshire and Humber Netball West league.
