It's okay for a teacher to use technology if they don’t lean on it too much. If a teacher is to give a student purely online assignments such as taking notes on videos or doing worksheets online a student won’t learn and won’t become interested in a subject. If a teacher is to teach in person and integrate technology by using it to give homework or allow a student to further research a topic that is fine and expected. It's an undeniable fact that sometime in the future the use of books when teaching will stop being so normal, being replaced with computers.

The use of technology isn’t all good however since it also brings into question the health of students. Prolonged exposure to screens can cause damage to the eyes, sitting for a long time while working on a computer is also bad causing several health concerns like increased blood pressure and may also contribute to obesity. Including this, as previously mentioned technology might also drive some teachers to become lazy or lose interest in their jobs, only giving online worksheets or assigning video lessons from other teachers. Including this, some students or (especially) teachers might not be technologically literate enough to know how to traverse school-related software on computers such as teams or outlook, people who are unable to use these might become frustrated and not want to learn giving up completely on an excellent source of communication and education.

These points don’t include another big problem that comes with the internet, students becoming distracted while working. Students who have grown bored from work that revolves around technology might use their phones to use social media or play video games while working, becoming addicted and letting it influence their school and personal lives. People who become obsessed with the internet whether that be video games or social media often procrastinate their work to do less important activities since they might view work assigned on computers as non-vital.
