Improving Middle School American Football Playing Drills
As a collegiate athlete, you're going to be faced with a lot of temptations, and usually leaders have the abiltiy to go against the grain to do what they feel is morally right.

The British league season is dominated by teams that play close to 'form'. Cup matches, however, are more of a lottery where 'giant killings' occur quite often and should be avoided if you want to win the football pools. We only bet when the odds of winning are best, which means league games. We don't place bets when 'form is likely to be compromised', e.g. on Boxing Day.

You can achieve all your goals if only you work hard enough. When you practice and play football, you need to be positive. You can be an incredible football player game player! If you keep this in mind, you will find you have more drive and passion for the game as you play.

Perhaps the most amazing feat is that Jim Brown accomplished these records despite never playing past 29 years of age. Brown's six games with at least four touchdowns remain an NFL record. Brown was the leader in rushing for the league eight times. Brown's 1,863 rushing yard record from 1963 is a Cleveland franchise mark. It is the oldest record for rushing yards among all 32 NFL teams. He was very difficult for opponents to tackle (as demonstrated by his leading 5.2 yards/carry), and often required multiple people in order to bring him down.

In the 90's I was the only coach I knew, option and formation power. We bought a small shotgun package to supplement our "I" formation power and option football. We ran a simple 5-3 defense. We ran the same offense and all the same drills I had run as a youth football player in the late 60's and in the 70's as a High School player. We even used some old College drills. Our offensive production was often directly tied to the amount of talent we had, and often the size our offensive line.
