If you finished the sentence, you could be allowing a limiting belief to prevent you from getting your dream life of as being a top wedding planner.
People often let me know they want to turned into a wedding planner then give excuses why they have not yet pursued their dream. It seems to me they've beliefs that stop them from following through.

1) "I want to take up a wedding planning business but I'm only knowledgeable about the weddings within my culture..."
The woman who explained this felt she should be capable of singing any type of wedding a bride or groom wanted. I told her along with her understanding of her culture, she had the perfect niche. She may be very successful since there were a large population who wanted her services in their own area and she or he had also been planning their weddings for free. I informed her to setup her business and begin charging.
2) "I do not have the money to consider a web-based event planner course..."
You need not possess a certificate or certification from a web-based school or any school. Take classes in event planning, hospitality, catering, floral design, interior planning and business at a local college to master basics.
Then find some good experience. Experience can be as important, or more so, than getting a document. 4) "I'm too old..."
You don't need to be young. Wedding planners have to be energetic and willing to work hard but that does not mean you have to be young. I know a number of girls that started their wedding planning businesses as soon as they became grandmothers and were very successful.
