Holdem Tactics - A Quick Way To Always Bet The Perfect Amount
Stephen Krex would usually only play the premium hands for the first 3 levels, however, you should play any pair for the price of one big blind. Your goal here is to flop a set and win a big pot. By now you should have a good idea about how your opponents are playing. If the majority are playing LAG, you want to continue playing TAG.

If there is more than 1 opponent in the pot and I'm in early position, I don't c-bet unless I have a hand. This rule sounds predictable but it rarely causes a problem. If I played against the same group of people on a regular basis, I would mix it up occasionally. But for the average poker player, this is just fine.

However, this is also a strategy that you don't want to use too much. The reason being is because you'll be giving your opponents a lot of information they can use against you later in the tactical plan.

Firstly, you need to get a handle on the cards you are playing. You need a plan of what cards you are going to play out of what positions. Having an idea of how you plan to play is a good start to playing to win.

When your M gets to 5, that's your all in zone. Pick the best hand you think you'll have of the round and go all in. If you're UTG, go all in no matter what you have. Do not take the blinds without going all in.

Another great little betting tactics is using correctly betting the pot. What I mean by this is, you do not want to underbet the pot and you do not want to overbet the pot.

If you are trying to make money from gambling, my advice is to go ahead and learn the game, but make sure you understand the odds and betting because that is how you will actually show a profit. Even a beginning poker player should understand Poker Odds and Percentages and can quickly become a money player by studying a simple strategy like Power Point poker betting strategy. Whether visit here is understanding pot odds, card counting strategy in blackjack, or watching the toteboard and understanding how to use the pools to your advantage, it's all about the odds and finding good bets.

Your opponent's chip stack also makes a huge difference, not only to the size of your bet, but as to whether or not you will bet at all. If you make a pre-flop raise of $300 and your opponent calls with only $300 left in his stack, he is pot-committed and you will not be able to bluff him after the flop. Realize this and either flop or be prepared to put him all in.
