Another move is the owner dispute over FC Basel between Bernhard Burgener und David Degen. Burgener's plan is supported and are backed by the Board of Directors. However there hasn't been any agreement reached.
Monday's meeting of FC Basel Holding AG's Board of Directors of FC Basel Holding AG was successful. Burgener, Degen, Karl Odermatt and Peter von Buren voted in favor of the original owner's plans. According to a statement from the holding firm, he requested Degen to buy his stake in Basel Dream & Vision AG.
The shares of Burgener can be sold to minor shareholders by the Board of Directors under the terms of a contractually defined law. This drag-along method is considered superior to Degen's presale rights.
Burgener and his group have now made an announcement in the ongoing dispute between the owners. Degen insists on his right to first refusal. https://www.archyde.com/burgener-wants-to-force-degen-to-sell-his-shares/ is seeking to exercise it to the value of 16.4 millions of francs. Burgener is not able to sell his 80 percent stake to Basel Dream & Vision AG due to a superprovisional injunction. The British asset manager Centricus would also have an interest in the new company. Burgener would have the majority of the votes.
In the FC Basel Holding AG announcement, Burgener is quickly seeking an out-of-court settlement "in the best interests of FCB".
