Online video storage is unpredictable. Sites could close or disappear. Here are some suggestions to backup your social media presence to your laptop.

My story isn't a huge one. My story isn't an extensive one. I was born, attended school, worked, and finally made it online. It also has some difficult times when I believed that it was all over. One of those moments was when my laptop computer went quiet. https://onlinevideoconverter.xyz However, after a little tweaking and moving my old hard drive to the new and installing a brand new desktop, I was able restore the entire work stored on the drive. It took me three days of sweating, literally crying... I've learned one thing. Automatically or manually back up my day's work using Dropbox and my personal FTP servers, so that nothing will ever be erased.

It's definitely not the most efficient option. The more information you store online, the more it costs to keep it all online. It is easy to use and seems to be very secure. It is able to be downloaded wherever the internet is available. But what happens when the internet isn't accessible? These are the times when I am glad having my laptop on me, it is like my last safe place to backup my data. Two drives I own, and utilize as RAID stacks. They both copy one another and have a backup in the event that one of my HDDs is damaged. Because I rarely copy the contents of the laptop, I've made it so that 2 drives do not get separated at once.

A couple of months ago, the other major day of sorrow was. As I mentioned above, I make sure not to lose any work I've done. I now copy the same file multiple times and make it accessible wherever internet access is available. This was Periscope. It was something I used quite often a number of years ago. And even last summer in 2020, during the protests in the city, I was able stream a few live streams. In the present, Periscope TV is closing down and all videos will disappear in a few weeks. What should you do? I need to download all of the videos to be able to store them offline on my laptop. Those are very dear to me. It's the last time I've hung with my friend who vanished from the radar during Covid and it seems like it got him..

His site is one I regularly visit. It lets me download videos from Youtube and Instagram, as well as Facebook which are a few of the sites which I save the majority of my live streams. I am into politics and underground movements, so I often film live events, then save them for future use, publish some on my YouTube channel and when the live stream is over, I back it up into my laptop. This is how I do it. This lets me cross-posting videos across various platforms. Not only can I share Youtube videos on Facebook, but I can also upload that video directly to Facebook. It's a separate video. Over the last 8 years, I have 3TB worth of live streams. Periscope Lives will not go out of fashion.. It helps me greatly.

It works flawlessly. You can play the video you wish to download on Periscope, Youtube, or Facebook. Copy the URL by using the share link. I then navigate to the site for video downloaders, paste the video link there, and in a matter of seconds I'll be presented with a range of options to download video. I can download it to my desktop or laptop, transfer it to other platforms, and save it for my family and friends ones. Periscope isn't available on every site.

If you're not familiar with this, Windows can utilize the copy command to assist you join these fragments to make a standard 1 long video file. This is due to the format used by video to create the fragments: MpegTS, which is also known as a transport stream. It includes all the data needed for video decoding in each of the fragments, making them independent from the stream so that each new user can begin streaming in a seamless manner. It saves browser data, too. Instead of downloading a file lasting 1 hour it downloads 360x 10 second files. If you watch only 25 seconds, the player downloads only 3-4 pieces. The current 25 second stretch gets 3-4 fragments. This greatly reduces the total downloads needed to watch 25sec from the middle of the stream. There is there is no need to download the entire 1hr of video before that 25sec..
