The following is the sequence of steps we follow during the conversion process of PSD to Responsive WordPress Website.

1.Designs are provided by the clients:

When a client provides the design files in the form of PSD,AI and/or JPG format to us,we can work with it, but we can work with the design files as long as our developers can slice the images from the design files.Our designers can also design the layout from the scratch.

Our project manager analyzes these files and the requirements of the client and discusses technical risks which may come up with our development team.After the analysis and initial discussion is done with the team of developers he provides the estimation and price quote to the client with timely milestones in our PMS system.

If the client wants us to change some components of the design files, our designers work on the version provided by the client and provide the best solution that fits the client requirements.

2.PSD to HTML/CSS Conversation:

Once the client approves the design changes made by our design team,the development team starts the conversion process of the PSD into HTML/CSS.

This process needs to be done accurately as it creates a firm base of the client's website.In the meantime our project manager regularly updates the client regarding the progress of the project through our PMS System. Once the development team does HTML/CSS conversion the website is send to the QA team.


3.Quality Analysis:

The QA team checks the website on different platforms like: PCs,Smart phones and Tablets and finds out if there are any issues in it.

The QA team does various kinds of testing of the HTML/CSS website like:Unit testing(In which they check every simple component of the website),Functional Testing(In which they check the functionality of the website).

And if they find bugs in the website, the bugs are assigned back to the development team and once the development team resolves those bugs and re-testing of the website is performed.



4.PSD to WordPress Theme Integration:

Our development team integrates the HTML and CSS files into word press by embedding the basic wordpress theme files and using PHP, JS, and jQuery to transform them into a cross browser compatible and widget ready word press theme.

As these are responsive websites,our developers customize the code that fits properly into various devices like: PCs,Smart phones and Tablets. Once the website is developed by the development team, it sends the website to our QA team.


5.Quality Analysis:-

6.Website Setup on client’s Server:

We set up the latest version of the word press website on the clients’ server so that they can see it and let us know if there are any other changes to be made in the website and they can also show the work to their clients’.

Then final website is submitted to our project manager for his review. After reviewing the website the project manager finally updates the client regarding the completion of the project in our PMS System.Later the project goes in maintenance mode and the changes from the clients are being taken care of by our development team.
