One of the techniques I used to prioritize the requirements for building an application for a local company was MOSCOW. It was a very effective technique to prioritize the requirements based on their necessity and business values. All stakeholders participated in meetings and the team came up with a list of requirements for the project after discussing each requirement individually. Then, a consensus was reached about what matters most, less, lesser, and least critical to stakeholders and customers which helped us to structure priorities into Must have, Should have, and Could have and Won't have in a very effective way and increase value for the company. Therefore, by making a decision about whether it should be implemented urgently or if it is not necessary, we were able to arrive at a clear understanding of the project's expectations. This technique was simple and easy to use and organize our items to achieve the best possible outcome with the least cost to use and save time by managing them beforehand.
