Secara DFA, battle adalah pertahanan diri saat pencapaian emosi tertinggi saat disuntikan serum kloning. Sedangkan secara universal, battle adalah pertarungan antar beberapa orang, minimal 2 yang menggunakan senjata. Kegunaan dari battle adalah untuk melawan dan mempertahankan diri dari serangan orang jahat.
Di DFA, battle menggunakan senjata yang kini dijual di Blackdust_DF yang berupa pedang. Zaman dulu, sistem battle di DFA sagat rumit, dan harus menggunaka kalkulator beras untuk melakukannya.
Saat battle, setiap level diperbolehkan untuk membawa arcana, dan setiap arcana memiliki kekuatan tersendiri yang akan dijelaskan di setiap jam battle. Battle tersendiri terdiri dari 3 orang, yaitu 1 orang wasit dan 2 orang pemain.
Setiap pemain harus mengirimkan sandi arrow keys [kanan/kiri] kepada wasit dengan kombinasi dan memakai sistem turn.
Untuk penyerang, harus mendm wasit dengan kode, misal: kanan. Dan penangkis, harus men-dm wasit dengan kode supaya tidak terkena serangan, misal: kanan. Berarti penangkis berhail menangkis serangan dari penyerang.
HP merupakan darah yang dimiliki, dan ST adalah poin yang dimiliki untuk menyerang.
