Title: Happy new year Mallory
Summary: Mallory is a girl in fourth grade who is on winter break. She had a plan to have a reunion with her friends during the New year and celebrate together since she did not see her friends since summer in Camp Blue Lake. It turns out that she gets a stomach ache before her reunion friends come over. She first thought it was fine and nothing would happen and didn't even tell her parents about her stomach ache which was hurting a lot but after a day or two she fainted and her parents had to take her to the hospital cause she had an appendix. While she was in the hospital her friends Carine, Taylor, and Mary Anne came over for the new year's reunion party. They were upset to hear that she was at the hospital. Mallory was so excited and had a lot of plans for the reunion party but when she woke up at the hospital she was very upset that her plans for the reunion party were ruined, she was also thinking that what might her friends be doing while she was at the hospital and how much fun they were having without her. Carine, Taylor, and Mary Anne were actually preparing for her return from the hospital. After a day, she was feeling better and was approved to go home from her doctor. When she came back they all welcomed her and watched the ball drop just in time. The next morning her Grandma and her friends left and went back home. During Mallory and her family's dinner, they were talking about making New year Resolutions. Mallory's new year Resolution was that she wants to learn to accept the bad moments with the very good moments in life.
