Para nelayan bercerita, awalnya mereka mencium bau amis yang sangat menyengat. Lantaran penasaran, mereka pun langsung memeriksa paus mati tersebut dan menemukan ambergris.
Meski mereka kini mendadak kaya, para nelayan mengaku tak akan pernah berhenti untuk memancing ikan di laut.
